Alexanders Funeral Care
Guiding families with dignity, compassion and care since 2007
Speak With Us — 01472 355 255 / 07802 314369When someone close to you passes away, the experience can feel overwhelming. At Alexanders Funeral Care, we understand that this is one of the most difficult times in your life.
We believe in providing a service to help ensure arrangements are as stress free as possible, leaving you free to be with your family and friends. From the moment you contact us, we take care of everything — handling all necessary arrangements with professionalism and sensitivity so that you can focus on your family.
We arrange funerals that reflect and incorporate the wishes of the individual, family and friends. We can advise on cremations and burials, choice of coffins and flower arrangements. We can even arrange to have the service at home or other suitable venue instead of the usual crematorium chapel service. Whatever you choose we can help you arrange it all, even a suitable venue for a gathering afterwards with any catering needs that might be required.
So whether it is a simple funeral, a traditional funeral, an alternative funeral or an extravagant occasion, we are able to provide you with a totally personal and completely bespoke service. We can also arrange for a home visit if you are unable to come to us. Nothing is too much trouble.

Pre-paid Funeral Plans
We work in partnership with Golden Charter to offer flexible pre-paid funeral plans. Plan ahead and protect your family from rising costs. Alexanders Complete Funeral Services Ltd trading as Alexanders Funeral Care is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279).
Pre-paid Funeral Plans
A funeral plan is an easy way to arrange the funeral you want in advance, bringing peace of mind to you and your family.
A plan allows you to specify your wishes and pay for the funeral director's services included in your plan. A plan from Golden Charter also includes an allowance towards third party costs. These are essential, non-funeral director services such as the cremation or burial fees, plus the minister or officiant's fee to perform the service. The value of the allowance included in your plan may grow over time. There will only be more to pay at the time of the funeral if the third party costs exceed the allowance when you buy your plan, or if the costs increase by more than the growth of your plan.
At Alexanders Complete Funeral Services Ltd, we work in partnership with Golden Charter to provide you with a simple way to plan ahead. As one of the UK's largest funeral plan providers1, Golden Charter has helped over 1 million people to plan ahead2, so we're completely confident in offering their plans to you.
Everyone has different needs when it comes to funeral planning, so we make sure the plans we offer are as flexible as possible. When you get in touch, we'll be happy to discuss your funeral requirements and tailor a plan to suit you. Rest assured a plan from Golden Charter is available to all UK residents, regardless of age or state of health.
Would you like to know more information about how a Golden Charter funeral plan could work for you? We can provide you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision for you and your family, so get in touch today.

Independent Funeral Directors in Grimsby
Alexanders Funeral Care is an independent, family-run funeral director serving Grimsby and the surrounding area with compassionate, personal support.
Alexanders Funeral Care was founded by Tony Alexander, who qualified as a Funeral Director in 1994 and opened Alexanders in February 2007 after serving the local Cleethorpes/Grimsby community in funeral care for nearly 20 years. What began as a vision to offer a more personal approach to funeral care has grown into one of Grimsby's most trusted independent funeral directors.
It is very much a family business. Tony's son, David Alexander, works alongside him and is a qualified Funeral Director. Tony's wife Vicky is a part-time receptionist. As a family business, they are able to offer a more personal service — nothing is too much trouble.
In 2008, Alexanders Funeral Care proudly received the North East Lincolnshire Enterprise Award for New Business, which acknowledged the hard work and dedication that had made Alexanders Funeral Care possible.
Alexander House, our premises on Carr Lane in Grimsby, was originally a derelict shop that was extended and transformed over a period of eight months into a large and beautiful funeral home. The home is tastefully furnished; the rooms are light, welcoming and wheelchair friendly. Our cars are silver, with the option to substitute for black if preferred.
Family and friends are able to visit their loved ones in our private chapel at any time day or night, as often as they like (by prior appointment), without incurring any extra charge.
